Raw because of people like Y2J and Santino Marella, smackdown a close second.
I used to hate Cena because it seemed every match he's in, he kept winning and winning, and it became predictable who would win in every Cena match. It's like the wwe portrayed him as someone invincible, but it wasn't really his fault because he was scripted to win the matches he's in, plus he has decent mic skills.

1.I think Raw because Raw is actually on Mondays unlike "Friday" night smackdown ECW has little superstars and most of them aren't even veterans from the old ecw.

My brother needs to work on his reading over the summer and I was wondering if there was any way to get free tests online over the book, rather than to pay for accelerated reader (AR). My brother is 10 years old and moving to 5th grade this next year.
You really don't need quizzes to judge his comprehension. There are tons of other projects he can do.
He can create a drawing of a scene from the story. He can create a children's book about the story. He can turn it into a movie -- cast of characters and why he would pick those actor; where it would be set; special effects, etc.
He can also write his own questions (like his own AR tests) and then provide an answer key. Believe it or not, some teachers give credit for that.
If you're set on finding quizzes, do a key word search. Look up the name of the book along with lesson plans. For example, if he's reading Holes, do a keyword search for Holes lesson plans. That will bring up a host of websites that have activities, quizzes, etc.
By the way, I strongly recommend Holes for your brother if he hasn't already read it. It's a phenomenal book with good action and crazy, deadly lizards. Young boys usually love it!

I am a very good student (but not a straight A student) who takes 4 AP classes and who moved to a new school in California summer of 2006 from Mass. before the start of my junior year. I kept up with my grades but now as a senior I want to try to (almost) get straight A's (one B instead of always getting two) but I try to study for AP Gov. even spend reading it with my dad to get a better understanding...but I cannot still get an A on the quiz or test....I need some help!!! because Im going to college next year and I want to be prepared.
I used to do a lot of studying too in high school. I was an A or B student...never a straight A student. Then I learned how to relax on test day, how to study correctly (i.e. understand the notes and material), and what my preferences were. I am now a straight A student about to graduate from college with a 3.8 GPA. Studying is not something you just know how to do...you learn which studying techniques are most effective and then use them. Suggestions about the tests:

i know this sounds stupid, i used to be an avid hater of flashcards, but now i make them all the time. they are a pain the the butt to make but really helpful. they helped me for world history AP!
I cant tell you too much about high school tests etc. But I can tell you about college tests. Who knows- maybe they are similar.
Basically, in college if you want to get a good grade you have to be smart about what you study. Know your teacher. Know what THEY focus on. Know how they think. How THEY formulate questions. Do they give you clues in class? Some teachers give an example for each concept they will test. Pay attention to that. If they ask a question in class, note what, how, why etc. Some read the line from the book.
Sometimes we would have 6 different teachers. But you must know each of their teaching styles their ways of letting you know they will test something.
It worked for us!

I have an opportunity to run a pub quiz. I have never done this before so I am unsure how payment works or what to ask for. I know this will vary around the UK.
Most do it for love, a complementary beer and/or meal.
Like Alan says most do do it for love but some make extra pocket money this way-it would depend on the size of the pub and the amount of extra revenue it will bring in. Discuss with the manager and maybe do the first or for just the cost of research and printing till you can get a rough idea of the bussiness you are adding?

When I was teaching math I used this site quite a bit. I had to pay for it as I used it for about 4-5 years with multiple classes. You can browse through their library of tests or make up your own. If they do the tests on line it is marked for you and put in your 'grade' book. I found it well worth the cost. Also, any tests you like or develope you can print them off is you wish. I had the kids testing themselves all the time. I had 6 computers in the room and they all wanted to go to quizlab.
You can try it our for free for 30 days. If you have the time, you can go through the site and print, print, print. You could get yourself 100's of tests if you wanted to take the time and print them out.

Do the homework. Most high school studies (especially highschool math) require rote memorization. Doing the homework as it comes up is the best way to accomplish that. Then when you study for a test, go over all the homework and do the questions/problems that weren't required for homework.

I learned today that young people are missing very basic information that every one should know. (Ex. how many continents are there? Who killed Abraham Lincoln.) I decided to make some memorization quizzes for them to do every day. Please help by supplying me with some basic questions you feel 1st - 8th graders should know the answers to. For Turbo C - I have 6 quizzes, only 4 of the quizzes will be computed for the average grade (The highest and lowest grade are ignored). I'm thinking of using "loop" but I can't get the logic.

Have one array for the quiz score.
Have another ignore array.
Loop through the quiz score and save the subscript for the lowest and highest score.
Now
ignore[lowest]=1

Now when you process the scores for grading make sure that ignore[i] is zero
Use two variables to store the highest and lowest respectively, and one to sum up all the test scores. Store the first value of the tests in both variables "high" and "low". Then check each element after the first one to determine if it is lower than "low" and if it is... assign this test score to "low". Do the same for high, instead checking if this test score is higher than "high". Once the loop completes, subtract "high" and "low" from the sum of all your tests, and then divide by the number of tests, in this case 4.

Depends on how you are storing the results. Assuming you are storing the results in an array of sorts, it should be a simple matter of sorting the array (Using a sort algorithm of your choice), then either removing the first and last entries, or just computing the average using all but the first and last entries.
So, as pseudocode after sorting (As I'm a Java programmer rather then a C programmer):
Input: Sorted array "quiz", storing integer % results for each of n quizzes, indexed 0-%26gt;(n-1)
Output: % value average of the results ignoring the highest and lowest
START
integer i
float total = 0
for i = 1 to n-2 {
total = total + quiz(i) //Where "quiz(i)" is the lookup for the result of quiz number "i"
}
total = total / (n-2)
END
This should work for any value of n providing you don't start straining the integer or float types.
It simply loops over the array, from 1 to n-2, which cuts off the first and last results. For a sorted array, this will be the highest and lowest results.
